DALLAS - The newest basketball league the Big 3 founded by Hip Hop Legend Ice Cube made a full court appearance throughout the DFW and Guns and Roses Boutique gave the city a court-side view into the league and its All-Star players. Each day, the stylish boutique located in the heart of Downtown Dallas shook up the crowd with fashion-forward pop up shops, kid-friendly meet and greets and provided the community with just what it needed to #FeedDallas!
Friday night July 28th - Big 3 Players Marcus Banks of the Ghost Ballers and Rashad McCants of Trilogy scored big with one-on-one interviews with the media and sports bloggers to highlight the game. Fans were able to ask questions and hear more from the players themselves on what it's like playing for the newly established team, work alongside other NBA players and their plans to take it to the hole for Sunday's game at the American Airlines Center. Those who came out to see these guys in action walked away with autograph signed merchandise, photos to put in any game room and a chance to see these guys up-close and personal.
The weekend Inside The Rose continued on Saturday July 29th with Dallas Native, NBA star and Big 3 Player Kenyon Martin hosting the exclusive luxury brand Kingish Pop-Up Shop. The City of Dallas, basketball fans, Big 3 supporters and many more were able to get their hands on the newest clothing line. From the Live DJ to the open bar to the meet and greet with Kenyon Martin and his fellow teammates - Guns and Roses Boutique scored nothing but net promoting and supporting brands from Kingish, 3 Kilos Vodka, Sweet Beat Vodka to the Big 3.
The day wouldn't have been complete without an opportunity to impact the community like champions. Guns and Roses Boutique teamed up with The Culture Supplier to take their talents to the streets to #FeedDallas. "You're suppose to do good. When you can give back - Do It! It's a part of life that we can all participate in," said Marcus Gilmore, Creator of The Culture Supplier. The two teams worked together to prepare food and water to serve over 50 homeless men, women and children throughout Downtown Dallas. "Feeding the homeless is a pleasure, everybody has to eat. There's enough food to go around," says Princess Pope, Owner of Guns and Roses Boutique. Making The Weekend Bigger Than Basketball!
